Online product reviews decreasingly realistic

A UK consumer association warns about numerous paid and false product reviews, especially those written by influencers. Influencers have already been criticised for promoting products only because they got them for free, and there are not many of them who would praise something that is really good because they use it and comment negatively on a product that is not what they want to present.
All this is preceded by a trend of checking the Internet users’ opinions before buying new products. And a magic circle starts spinning. Many people make final purchasing decisions based on reviews of journalists, bloggers and influencers, namely comments on forums and various pages. So, can such reviews be trusted today?
According to Which?, a UK consumer organisation, one should be very carefully when reading such reviews and comments, adding that it definitely recommends detailed analysis of the Internet and search for multiple review sources before a purchasing decision. The reasons for that lies in false reviews sold online, which may give a wrong impression about specific products.
