Represent Communications at the top of a 2019 list in regard to business revenue

Marketing mreža has announced results of a survey among communications and PR agencies within the #AgencyReport19 study.
Agency Represent Communications has assumed the very top of the list in regard to business revenue, and the seventh place in net profit. In 2018, the agency recorded an increase of both financial indicators – 11.25% of business revenue and 8.40% of net profit. Last year, the Represent staff grew by 7.14%.
The second place in business revenue and the fourth in net profit is won by agency Right. Its business revenue went up by 36.25%, while net profit fell by 53.72%. The Right team is bigger by 11.76%.
Agency Red Communications is third in business revenue and second in net profit, with stable growth recorded last year – 19.89% of business revenue and 76.67% of net profit.
The fourth place in business revenue is assumed by agency Fusion Communications, which operates as a separate legal entity within Direct Media United Solutions. The agency recorded an increase of business revenue of 19.63% and a drop of net profit of 23.68%.
New Media Team was ranked fifth in regard to both business revenue and net profit, with a substantial increase of 79.34% and 14.05%, respectively, and the workforce wider by 30.77%.
Growth in both financial criteria was also recorded by agencies Olaf&McAteer, Grayling, V+O Communications, Headline, We Media Agency, Wollson, Hristov Consulting, Proglas PR and Dowse Communications last year.
Net loss was registered for Komunikacijski laboratorij (in a receivership procedure), JIGSAW Communications, Profession Group, Communication and Nova Comm.
Action Global Communications operates in Serbia as a representative office of Cyprus’ PR agency of the same name. The agency is not included in the list of PR agencies as there is not data on its business operations. It is an active legal entity, established in Serbia in 2001.
A total of 38 legal entities with communications and public relations as its core competencies are registered with the Serbian Business Registers Agency.
The overall business revenue of the listed communications and PR agencies in 2018 rose by 18.30%, with the total net profit higher by 19.27%.
The workforce of the agencies reached 222 in 2018, or 4.72% more y-o-y.
In regard to the size of the agencies per number of employees in 2018, small agencies with up to 15 employees dominate, accounting for 87% of the total, followed by medium-sized ones – 13%.
