Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the state of emergency was declared at the entire territory of the Republic of Serbia as of March 15.
Cases registered until 3 pm: 249
New cases: 27
Total tested so far: 822
Increase compared to yesterday: 12,2%
Change of strategy in the fight against coronavirus – more testing and isolation of patients with lighter symptoms. Accordingly, there will be a drastic increase in the number of people tested in the next 48 hours.
For now, there will be no change in curfew hours.
Society and Economy
The President announced significant help for the private sector. For layoffs during the corona crisis – sanctions for employers.
Banks – regular (contacted) interests on loans will be calculated during the moratorium, but they will not be charged. They will be added to the debt and equally distributed on the remaining installments.
Serbian businessmen are aware of the difficulty of the current situation and the crisis ahead of us, but all emphasize that the number one priority is to save lives, but say that we have to think about „the day after“ and how to overcome the current problems.
